From August 16 through August 20, Warsaw was the locale for the 3rd International Conference on

the Dialogical Self (TICDS). It followed upon two earlier conferences: the first at the University of

Nijmegen, The Netherlands in 2000 and the second at the University of Ghent (Belgium) in 2002. The

conference was co-sponsored by the Warsaw School of Social Psychology (WSSP; Szko‰Ça Wy‰ºsza

Psychologii Spo‰Çecznej [SWPS]) and the Catholic University of Lublin. Located in the Praga district

across the Vistula River from old Warsaw, the WSSP served as the venue for the conference itself.

This website contains a selection of photos which I took during my trip to Poland and attendance at

the conference. I brought back approximately 1200 digital images and the ones which are

reproduced here are, of necessity, a selection from this larger set. I have included some pages with

scenes from my travel to and from Warsaw as well as a day of touring on August 15, the day before

the start of the conference. I hope these images convey how beautiful and historic I found the

capital of Poland.
